• Doug Lee, Director of 3Drakes

    Doug

Doug loved selling print and traveling all over the UK, but wasn’t as keen working for somebody. So, 20 years ago started his local magazine helping support local business and the local community.  Doug’s expertise and connections within the print industry means he is favoured by customers and suppliers alike.  His favourite new toy is the DTF machine

  • Marci Lee, Director at 3Drakes

    Marci

For Christmas, as a child, Marci was bought an embroidery kit, and this is where her love for embroidery began.  A career in teaching came to an end with the offer of joining Doug’s mum in her school uniform shop which reawakened her love of embroidery, now at an industrial level!  Marci’s happy place is on her computer digitising a new design.  Loving a challenge, recent years have seen Marci creating embroidered designs from photos of barges and cap pin badges to working on a bespoke tapestry for a Royal charity.

  • Betsy

It was pure chance we discovered her design talents. For GCSE Textiles she designed and made a stunning child's dress and used the family’s embroidery machines to embellish it, achieving top marks. Betsy made the move to join the family business. Becoming our first apprentice, she passed her course with flying colours. When the DTF machine was delivered, Betsy eagerly learned how to use it, perfecting it to this day. Betsy is now our Production Manager and is perfecting her print and embroidery skills whilst also being in charge of our Social Media accounts.

  • Harvey

Harvey may be the youngest member of the family but he already has big plans. He is already practicing his sales technique pitching ideas to everyone we meet! His design and imagination skills are put to use when designing gifts for friends and his own wardrobe.  Harvey, like all of us, are testers for new products, indeed Harvey is a great Brand Ambassador for his favourite ranges from our suppliers.
